The Highlands Council Interactive Map displays planning and land use data for the New Jersey Highlands, located in Northern New Jersey. The New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council (“Highlands Council”) planned this interactive mapping application to allow users to view and contrast planning and preservation areas, as well as land use capability within those areas. Varying overlays differentiate between protection zones, conservation zones, and planned community zones or specially planned areas.

Parcel data for municipalities within the Highlands Region is also available on the map. Users can search by clicking on the map or by entering the address, block or lot number to find detailed parcel information.
